Medical Device Transport – How Is It Done in Turkey?

- Temperature-controlled transport: Cold chain or a specific temperature range may be required for drugs and some devices; vehicle and equipment must be suitable.
- Packaging and labelling: Correct labels and packaging must be used for fragile, sterile or hazardous products.
- Documents and compliance: CE, TSE or Ministry approvals may be required depending on the product; customs and health declarations may be requested for export/import.

- In transport between hospital, manufacturer and distributors, the contract usually includes “medical / medical device” and a handover protocol.
