Differences Between Full Load and Partial Transport
Full load or part load? A guide to choosing the right transport type for your needs. Information in line with Turkish standards.
In transport and warehouse (ambar) services, depending on the volume and urgency of your cargo, full load or partial transport may be the right choice. The right choice affects both cost and delivery time.
What Is Full Load (Full Truck)?
In full load transport you rent the entire vehicle. Whether your cargo fills it alone or a few pallets, the truck is for your use. No other customer’s cargo is carried on the same route.
When to use?
- When your volume fills or nearly fills the vehicle
- When you want timing fully under your control
- When you need single-origin to single-destination, fast and direct delivery
What Is Partial (Part Load)?
In partial you use only the space you need. Different customers’ cargo can be carried on the same truck; cost is shared.
When to use?
- When you have small or medium-sized shipments
- When you want to reduce cost
- When flexible shipment dates are acceptable
Summary
| Feature | Full Load | Partial |
